The Advanced Digital Tools workshop introduced me to the parametric software Grasshopper. This came in handy for the development and planning of many project-related tasks as well as for personal projects and experimentations. In the course, we were given many practical examples and tasks that I tried to continued further and translated into my own designs and codes.
I wrote my first own grasshopper file for the furnish proposal of a parametric dome. My script certainly isn’t the quickest way to achieve this result, yet I was excited to see how quick it is possible to apply the learned information and get the result that I wanted. This script lets you control the radiuses of the two circles and the resulting connections and their angles.
