Fani Kostourou is an Associate Lecturer at the MA Cities programme in UAL Central Saint Martins. Formerly an Urban Computation Specialist at Grimshaw Architects where she led geospatial analysis for projects in Oman and the UK and provided support for research, development, and training within the Design Technology team. Previously, Fani was Associate Director at Theatrum Mundi organisation and taught architecture and urbanism at the UCA Canterbury School of Architecture, the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff University, the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture and Development Planning Unit, and the CANactions School for Urban Studies. She holds a PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies from UCL Bartlett, focusing on diachronic processes of growth, adaptation, and change in street networks, buildings and plots. Her current research interests include design research, morphology, computation, critical spatial theories, housing, and urban cultures.
