Dami Akinniyi is a computational designer, and geospatial data scientist working at the intersection of AI and urban design. She is a part of the innovative Data Science Program of The Government of Manitoba, championing the use of advanced statistical methods, ML/AI in morphological-administrative urban analysis, development and policy making.
Dami obtained a degree in Advanced Computation for Architecture and Design from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. With over a decade of professional experience working on projects across various scales and typologies, Dami brings a wealth of knowledge in creative design thinking and extensive theoretical and technical expertise in ML and programming for automation, optimisation, and visualisation of data-driven architectural and urban design solutions.
