Ariadna Cantís

Author, critic and independent curator of architecture, she divides her activity between the diffusion of architecture, urbanism, research and curatorship, through projects, exhibitions, workshops and publications, with the aim of generating a critical thinking between architecture and contemporary culture, investigating the limits of the disciplines.

Since 2000, she is curator of the research program Panorama Emergente Iberoamericano, and since 2006 she is curator of the FRESHMADRID platform, currently a guest project at the MATADERO MADRID creators archive. Since 2009 she is curator of the FRESHLATINO project and FRESHLATINO 02, a platform for the diffusion of Ibero-American architecture with the sponsorship of the Instituto Cervantes. In 2008 she created together with Andrés Jaque the platform PIENSA MADRID, within the programming of La Casa Encendida. Curator of Mataderolab, TransformingMadrid, Performingarchitecture. Guest expert of the Mies van der Rohe Awards 2009-2011, jury of the AEPD Awards, and member of the scientific committee of the eme3 Festival.
