“A Guidebook on Urban Degrowth” delves into integrating degrowth strategies within urban planning to foster a shift towards an equitable urban future. This study centers around a pivotal research question: How can current literature on degrowth be translated into practical applications in city planning to guide urban areas toward enhanced social well-being and ecological equity? It aims to develop a guidebook for cities to transition from traditional economic models, characterized by high consumption and production, towards models emphasizing environmental balance and social equity. The synthesis of my thesis is curated in 6 chapters seen in the flipbook created from Unity 2D core.
