Advanced manufacturing and new design methodologies are not only changing how we work, live, and play but also reshaping the processes and interactions in the cities and societies. The introduction of those processes into the architectural industry is changing the paradigm of how we conceive the architectural method. This new mediation between old knowledge and new techniques is making the process as important as the end work, all becoming a whole.
The students will obtain knowledge of fabrication and practice the use of the machines available at the Green FabLab mainly through the development of the course M05 // Collaborative Design Studio.
The projects developed will serve as a meaning for the exercise of digital fabrication, prototyping, woodworking and carpentry.
