Aaron Porterfield is an Industrial Designer focused on computational design and digital fabrication. He received a BFA in Industrial Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. He has worked in additive manufacturing for over 10 years, with Autodesk, FATHOM, and now his own consultancy, F=F. His work ranges from footwear to orthotics and prosthetics, athletic gear, furniture, and automotive. Working with clients such as Nike, The North Face, SQlab, Steelcase, Cupra, Mercedes AMG, and more. He is also the developer of the Crystallon plugin, which is an open source toolkit for creating lattice structures with Rhino and Grasshopper.
