Alexander Kamenev is an urban planner and expert in applying AI to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering, along with additional education in architecture, media, and design.
Alexander is the co-founder and CEO of Aino, an AI agent designed to streamline GIS data analysis for AEC professionals, enabling work with massive geospatial datasets without specialized data engineering skills. Aino serves over 200,000 users, including architects, analysts, and urban designers.
Previously, he led a civic-tech product that leveraged NLP to analyze urban behavior and support data-driven decision-making for local governments, impacting over 300 cities.
