Amanda Gioia is a licensed Architect, with experience working in Canada and USA. She studied architecture in Canada, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture at McGill University in Montreal. As an architect, she found herself primarily interested in Computational Design workflows, so as a professional development initiative, she recently completed the MaCAD program at IaaC in 2022.
Amanda currently works at HED, an Architecture, Engineering and Planning Firm in the USA, as a Practice Technology Specialist. In this role, she provides guidance and support to the strategic application of BIM and innovative design technologies on projects.
