Cristina Goberna Pesudo is an architect, critic and educator. Director of Architectural Agonism, a multidisciplinary architecture studio she founded in New York City in 2008. Her work has been widely published and exhibited in international magazines, museums (MoMA, Guggenheim, Georges Pompidou Center, Chicago Art Institute…) and Biennials around the world. She works as an architect and consultant in architecture, cities, critical thinking and for museums, governments and institutions and as a frequent organizer/speaker at round tables, juries, events and international conferences. She has taught at MIT Department of Architecture (Boston), Columbia GSAPP (Ny), The Cooper Union (Ny), The Royal College of Art (London), UTS (Sydney), BAU (Barcelona), IE (Madrid) or MACBA PEI (Barcelona) or the Institut d’Humanitats (Barcelona). After 13 years in New York, she is currently based in Barcelona, where she works nationally and internationally. In September 2024 she launches as Director a Master in Critical Design at the School of Design and Engineering ELISAVA.
