Federico Caldi is a designer with two master degrees – one in Building Engineering and Architecture from the University of Pisa, and another in Advanced Architecture from IAAC in Barcelona. Throughout his studies, he developed a strong interest in structural engineering, computational design, and digital fabrication.
His experience working in different environments has allowed him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and learn from various approaches to design. He has gained hands-on experience in a fabrication lab in Barcelona and has worked on projects that combine technology with design thinking.He is especially interested in how engineering, digital tools, and advanced manufacturing can come together to create functional and inspiring spaces. He focuses on balancing technical precision with thoughtful design to produce work that is both practical and visually engaging.
