Francisco Villeda

Born in Mexico City, he received his degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He has subsequently completed a postgraduate degree in Advanced Architecture at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IaaC) in Barcelona, and a second postgraduate degree in “Digital Techtonics”, focusing on parametric software and rapid prototyping technology. In academic terms, he was Assistant Professor at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IaaC) from 2006 to 2007 where he continued to periodically attend conferences and collaborate as a guest critic. He has lectured and taught at serveral institutes, such as DIS Institute in Copenhagen, the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City The Royal Danish Academy of Arts and Architecture also in Copenhagen. His work is featured in several publications, including Europan Catalogues 8 and 9 and New European Urbanity by Nai Editorial, The Netherlands.
