Jordi Vivaldi is an architectural theorist and researcher. PhD Architect (IOUD, Austria, 2018) and PhD Philosopher candidate (EGS, Switzerland, 2018-2021), Jordi is currently working as faculty and researcher in several international architectural schools such as IaaC in Barcelona, Bartlett in London or IOUD in Innsbruck.
His field of work lies in the critical and formalist theorization on experimental contemporaneous architecture in relation to the technological, aesthetic, political and metaphysical condition of the XXI century. Besides several articles and lectures, this work has recently crystallized in two books that are in process of being published: “Conformative, Distributive and Expansive: 30 years of Advanced Architecture” and “Continuous while Discrete: the problem of the floor under the emergence of the subjectlessness condition”.
