Mariana Barrera

Mariana is a producer of Pülku Cider in Patagonia, Argentina. She holds a BA in Economics and a Master in Finance from the Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT). She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University. She was National Director of Innovation and Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Interior, Public Works and Housing of Argentina, 2015-2019. Since 2012 she has been a consultant in the design, implementation and evaluation of development programmes and public policies (CAF, IDB, World Bank). She is a research associate at CEPE, UTDT. She led the research “Boom Towns and the effects of infrastructure investment: a case study of land use and socio-spatial patterns in Añelo, Argentina”, with support from the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, 2014-2016.
