Nicolás Valencia

Elected Young Architect Award by the Chilean Association of Architects in 2022 and one of the one of the future leaders of Architecture in 2018, Valencia focuses, as an architect, writer, editor and regular conference guest, on the dissemination of architecture through various formats. He is Editorial & Data Manager of ArchDaily, the world’s most visited architecture website.
In addition to participating in the Biennials of Chile (2019, #XFORMAS), Tbilisi (2020, Unequal Cities) and Venice (2021, Sol y Venecia). Venice (2021, Sol y Sombra), he has taught at the Escola da Cidade (Brazil), Escuela Radical (Mexico), Universidad Católica de Chile (Mexico), Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de Chile. He has also been a juror and lecturer in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Chile. He has published the books Idea Política Pública (co-ed, 2017), #XFORMAS de Hacer Arquitectura (co-author, 2022) and The ArchDaily Guide to Good Architecture (co-editor, 2022). In 2023 he will publish Enjundia, his first book of chronicles and essays.
