Rodrigo Langarica is an architect by the Universidad Iberoamericana CDMX 2003; with a master in Advanced Architecture “Digital Tectonics” by IAAC 2008. He is the current director of the School of Architecture at the Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro – Mexico, and the Creative Director of RL Arquitectura. He is also the creator and co-founder of Arquitectura Experimental 2003-2015, RL Arquitectura 2016, Fablab CDMX, Fablab Querétaro, among others.
His work was exhibited at the “Venice Biennale” in the years 2010, 2012 and 2016; in the Design Week CDMX 2015 and 2016, in Mextrópoli 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. He has been a part of several committees, such as the Comité Consultivo para Q500 and the Comité Académico del EGEL-CENEVAL. Moreover, he was a professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Santa Fe 2009-2013, Universidad Anáhuac México Norte, Querétaro and Xalapa.
He has given conferences and workshops in Mexico and different countries, as well as consultancy in Parametric Design, Digital Fabrication and Design Thinking applied to creative processes. He has participated and directed a wide variety of projects on different topics and scales globally and locally, and his work has been published in various media in places such as China, Italy, Mexico and Spain.
