This project proposes an objective approach to applying theory of affordance for architecture and design to improve the design process for Parc de la Devesa for La Sardana. It investigates architecture can play the role of an intuitive interface to achieve the goal of enhancing human’s perceptions of the environment. In the particular case of Parc de la devesa for La Sardana. The approach comprises three phases: identifying ecological elements, investigating the psychological requirements of human agents, and reassessing environment elements.

Proxemics is used to investigate the psychological requirements of human agents. The design incorporates festive togetherness and serene solitude to ensure that it meets the needs of human agents. Old affordances are modified to create an interior-exterior horizontal landscape that increases general human mobility.
