La Maestría en Urbanismo Próximo (MaUP), es una maestría de 1 año de duración diseñada para profesionales en activo que buscan obtener credenciales adicionales en el espacio de la Planificación y el Diseño Urbano, pero que requieren un horario flexible debido a compromisos laborales y vitales. Se centra en los temas que representan los grandes retos contemporáneos en torno al concepto de ciudad como el más complejo sistema dinámico de intercambio e interacción inventado por la humanidad.

Course: MAEBB01 22/23 Thermodynamic Fabrications

Students will explore through cultural references (documentary photography, images, etc.) the intersection between a particular climate and its everyday life. This exercise, ranging from architectural references to cultural adaptations to climate —social patterns and lifestyles, clothing, inhabitation patterns, local climatic types, etc.— will analyze how a given culture adapts to its geography and climate. Climate Consultant software and the psychrometric chart will help understand the relationship between climate and architecture.
