This project, titled Recursive Shell, is located at Plaça del Pi. The pavilion explores form-finding through inverted arch logic and modular timber shells. Using a Kangaroo Bouncy Solver, the design optimizes structural stability via parameters like pressure, edge lengths, and vertex loads. The system consists of interlocking triangular panels and joint discs extracted from a tri-meshed ruled surface. By varying anchor points and spiral scales, the team generated a catalog of iterations.
References and Concept

The Pentaura Pavilion (MPDA) is a modular timber shell that achieves structural stability through interlocking geometric panels, optimizing material for a self-supporting volume.
The Catenary Structure (June Lee Design) utilizes inverted arch logic, where gravity-derived curves are translated into a rhythmic timber lath system to create a lightweight, high-compression canopy.

Main Components and Logic
Panels
Extracted by the triangular meshes, faces of the mesh once Kangaroo is applied and offsetting to get thickness.
Joint Discs
Created by the panels, using circles and setting the planes. The circles cut the panels and offsetted to get thickness
