The project exemplifies the synergy of light dynamics, natural aesthetics, and sound harmonics using advanced digital fabrication. Laser-cut intricate strips, interlocking seamlessly, are reinforced for structural support, providing customizable light modulation. In 3D printing, the organic growth of Mycelium is abstracted, creating a visually impactful panel system conducive to vegetation growth. The CNC design embodies sound principles, mimicking cymatics to produce panels with exceptional acoustic performance.

Laser Cutting – LIGHT

CONCEPT

This adaptable generative system features a network of interconnected points that conform effortlessly to diverse surfaces.

Utilising specialised, pliable strips for vertical integration and seamless connections to nearby points, it establishes robust geometric associations, promoting cohesion. The intricate strip design seamlessly interlocks, complemented by a structurally reinforced support system. Notably, this tool-free assembly and disassembly system enhance user-friendly adaptability.
