As part of the media project class, we received tools for presenting architectural projects in a more interesting and convincing manner. We experimented with two types of media: a documentary-style video based on interviews and rendering using Lumion. We practiced these tools on our semester project, Echo House, which focuses on the combination of housing with the music industry.

For the video, we filmed interviews of the two members of the group discussing the project and attempted to derive the story from the results. The A-roll shoot helped us clarify, primarily to ourselves, that the story of our project revolves around creating a community around music and utilizing music to enhance the quality of life.

For the B-roll, we shot footage in the metro, in the city, and at musical events, aiming to explore the role of music in our daily lives in Barcelona and employing photography as a means of investigation and information gathering.

To present the structure of the project and the fusion of industry with commerce and residence, we utilized the second medium: renders.

Render 1 > view from the pedestrian street
Render 2 > view from the neighboring building
Render 3 > eye level view from the main road
Render 4 > eye level view from the cafe
Render 5 > overview of the whole project
