A new wildlife museum will appear in the crater Agnano, in Naples, Italy. The purpose of the museum is to raise attention to wild nature, learn about endangered species, and experience pure nature. The project aim is to create a path of experiences through the landscape and reduce the footprint to minimize the invasion. Along the path the visitor will experience different view points and exhibition spaces. In order to filter the people out of nature, the whole path will be covered in a translucent skin.

Aggregation

The skin of the path consists of a discrete modules with a cross-crossection.

Site approach

The path is defined by a spline, which is then projected on a landscape and elevated 10m above the ground. Following the points of interest are placed along the path. In those spots the spline changes its height and width.
