Ovolo – Eggshell Tiles
Food waste is a massive problem, contributing to approximately 4.4 billion tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually, as per the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Greenhouse gas emissions from food waste in landfills exacerbate this issue. In egg food production, eggshells account for a significant portion of food waste.
With global egg production projected to reach 90 million tons by 2030, the disposal of eggshells in landfills without repurposing them worsens the problem, causing long-term environmental pollution.
Additionally, eggshells contain valuable raw materials like calcium. Finding a sustainable solution is crucial to address these challenges.
Ovolo tiles are one of the solutions to this Problem. Ovolo are made of eggshell waste with bio binders and offer varieties of benefits
