The most challenging thing is how to calculate all the solutions using the brute force method while still maintaining a fast response time. The script behind this includes several steps:
- Get the main axis of the site
- Generate a set of possible building shapes. ensure that the area is maintained.
- Find the unique positions on the site and make sure they can reach mostly every corner of the boundary without creating any intersections.
- Create the building, divide the facade into grids, test the mesh rays from the center of each cell to obstacles and count the number of hit points.
- Sort all the solutions from worst to best by the number of points that hit
- Visualize options output mesh.
