Considering my lack of experience in design and architecture, this course was my first experience with modelling a floor plan or 3D plan. I tried to go for a feature that I could identify easily, both on my screen and in real life, and decided to model windows.
The 2D plan would consist of a catalogue of the house’s windows, not just their dimensions and positions but also their age to try and explore the different ways in which one can model a structure’s characteristics. I wanted to represent tangible, heterogeneous data as well, and decided that my 3D plan would be an analysis of the sunlight allowed in two different rooms through their windows.

Although there are many features of Rhino I have not explored thoroughly (ex: line weight), I am quite satisfied with my first ever approach to modelling a plan. These were the skills I was hoping to gain, or at least experience, when joining this program, and I am looking forward to work on such abilities.
