This project was carried out to support research on the relationship between bird populations and natural conditions in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia.
- Using Python software and Plotly Dash in conjunction with the Excel xlsx data, a pie chart dashboard was created and the most frequently observed bird species of the 3 most research interesting migratory birds in the region, the Cattle Egret, was identified.
- Using Python software and Plotly Dash in conjunction with the Excel csv data, a bar chart dashboard was created and the rainiest month for the period 2010-2022 was revealed, it turned out to be April. Furthermore, the most rainy months were March, November and October.
In conclusion, the most frequently observed migratory bird Cattle Egret in the province of Barcelona was identified and the rainiest time of the year is spring (month – April) when its migrating flights are least likely, which means that local ornithologists can count them and preserve colonies during this period.
