This project explores the use of Augmented and Mixed Reality (AR/MR) technologies to enhance architectural design communication and decision-making. The mobile application allows users to select a facade design from a digital catalog and visualize it in real time on their existing buildings through their smartphone camera.

After selecting a facade from the catalog, users can:

  • View the 3D model of the facade on-screen.
  • See the selected design projected directly onto their building via the camera, using real-time AR tracking.

The goal of the project is to make facade design interactive and accessible, enabling building owners or designers to preview different architectural solutions without the need for physical prototypes or renders. This interactive experience helps users better understand how a certain design would look and feel in its actual context.

The app was developed using Unity and AR Foundation, and is optimized for Android devices. The facade models were designed parametrically using Rhino and Grasshopper, allowing for flexible adaptation to different buildings and urban contexts.

Key Features:

  • 📱 Mobile AR interface
