Tensegrate

Computation Design Seminar-Term II The project envisions a dynamic tensile structure on a terrace, integrating tensegrity to create a lightweight yet structurally efficient space for public interaction. Designed as a multifunctional hub, the pavilion provides a space for relaxation, lunch breaks, social gatherings, and contemplation.  By leveraging computational design tools such as Kangaroo, we explore … Read more

PERPETUA – perpetual and unending

Abstract Perpetua is a pavilion that embodies fluidity, continuity, and movement. Inspired by the dynamic energy of Plaça Nova, its overlapping curves rise and intertwine, forming three distinct yet connected pathways that invite exploration. The name “Perpetua”, meaning perpetual and unending, reflects the seamless transition of space, where geometry and motion merge into an evolving … Read more

FROM WASTE TO TAP

REIMAGINING WATER TREATMENT INFRASTRUCTURE THROUGH BIO-BASED SOLUTIONS PROJECT OVERVIEW WATER STRESS Due to the climate change, inefficient irrigation systems for agriculture, population growth and inefficient water infrastructure, the water stress in the world is increasing. But we question ourselves if water is really a scarce resource or is it just the issue of how the … Read more

Reviving the Derelict

Concept The project aims to translate movement/motion of people from the streets into kinetic/ light and sound installation on the building’s facade using metal pipes/ wind chimes. The main input into the project would be from ultrasonic sensors placed on the exterior wall in between the building’s boundary and the public. The input from these … Read more

SlideSquare: The Sliding Square Facade

The architectonic project of an interactive environment that develops a structure opening and closing according to sunlight is a design that responds to the natural light changes throughout the day. The concept can be applied in a façade to regulate the temperature and sun entrance on the building, or in a residential or commercial project … Read more
