Creating a kinetic facade with no human intervention

Light-Sensitive Dynamic Facade (Seeeduino Lotus Prototype)

This prototype uses the Seeeduino Lotus microcontroller to create a responsive building facade that automatically adjusts to surrounding light conditions. A set of light sensors (LDRs) measure real-time sunlight intensity across different areas of the facade. Based on these readings, the system drives servo-actuated panels (fins) that tilt or rotate to regulate daylight penetration and reduce glare or heat gain.

Rethink the concept without any human intervention.

True design lives and evolves like its inhabitants. Architecture should sense, adapt, and regenerate responding to light, climate, and time without human command. Buildings become self-regulating organisms that breathe, learn, and transform, blurring nature and structure. In this living equilibrium, architecture is no longer built it grows alongside life itself.
