The week of Teche 01 workshop focused on introducing students and part of the research team in the landscape of Valldaura. The team was in charge of gathering soil samples from different areas of the forest campus in order to compare different behaviors of the soil. Through a series of tests , each group showed their final outcomes of the research by comparing soil plasticity, strenght and extrusion rates. At last different coating strategies will be applied in order to make the soil samples permeable to water. The goal is to create a perfomance catalog in order to determine where the best soil comes from to print with , and what is the final outcome of this soil so that we can improve our structural performance of 3D printed with earth structures in the future.
