“ARchSemble Welcomes you to the world of AR in Fabrication”
ARchSemble is an Augmented Reality assisted application to help you build an architectural element or an entire structure.
Assembly and reconfiguration of modules in the desired form,as per user requirement, with information and specifications of the
modules can be achieved with the help of the application.
All we need is to scan the QR code and the app will assist you with the number of pieces and modules required, with the number of
screws needed. Once you have that in place, the app will assist you to assemble them in the space required.
Concept: Module Exploration
What information does the App provide?
The app contains guidlines in 3 forms:
- Option 1 – User Manual:
It will gives you instructions in form of text and diagram. - Option 2 – Assemblage:
It will give you further details on how to assemble the module, then the geometry and the joineries with the help of AR. - Option 3 – Visualisation:
It will give a general visual of the basic structure with the assembled modules and its reconfiguration.
How does the app assist with the fabrication?
How does the User interface work?
Step 1:
- On the Start page, you can see the credits for the application.
When START is pressed, further details will be given.
- On the Main Menu, you will see 3 options:
Step 2:
User Manual – It will show you a document on how to use the application for fabrication.
Assemblage – You can further explore here for details.
Visualisation – It will show you a 3D visual of the assembly.
Step 3:
- On further going inside Assemblage, you can either explore a single module, entire geometry with the modules or joinerys.
Step 4:
- The Module tab will take you to see how the module looks and how it can be assembled. You can further explore the various options.
Step 5:
- The Joinery option will show you the various ways of linking one module to the other.
Step 5:
- The Geometry tab can give you a lot of details about the assembly. Scan the QR codes to move ahead
Step 6:
- As soon as the camera opens, there are 3 variations to be explored.
