Project Abstract;

The design process for “Fan Fusion Square” began with an exploration of the Champions League logo’s iconic elements, extracting its dynamic and interconnected nature. Leveraging Grasshopper on Rhino, Voronoi patterns were generated to symbolize the diverse teams converging in harmony, forming the fundamental structure of the pavilion. Metaball transformations introduced fluidity and organic curves, creating inviting spaces for dining and social activities.

Kangaroo physics simulations were employed to ensure structural integrity, allowing for adaptive configurations that catered to diverse functions. The central performance area, influenced by the competitive spirit of the Champions League, became a focal point for cultural events. Meanwhile, the dining spaces were meticulously designed to offer a gastronomic experience that reinforced a sense of community.

The Stripper plugin refined and streamlined the design, achieving a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetics. The final abstracted process embodied unity, competition, and cultural celebration, capturing the essence of the Champions League logo while meeting the diverse needs of the community.
