In order to break down the structural behavior, we drew the 2D structure diagram to explain our approach.
By comparing different version of the structures, we’ve noticed that the V1 and V2 presented similar performances. And even though V1’s results were slightly better when it comes to utilization, V2 presented the best aesthetics while also optimizing displacement and wooden volume..
- As the karamba displacement models show, the more complex the structure, the easier the forces will breakdown.
