Manifest
A monolithic tower structure which is exposed to lightning and attracts their immense energy.
The aim of the project is to harvest and invest their electric potential into a structure which will be sheltered
and protected to allow visitors to live in. The skin of the building will be lightning-based: the high voltage discharges
will be reaching the building and, by catching the bags which populate the facade, they will build
and petrify the outer layer of the tower itself.
In anticipating and incorporating the attracted lightning and its energy within the architectural design,
many are the parameters that needs to be considered
in order of creating an ephemeral space that changes and evolves with time as lightning passes through the structure.
