Sustainable Design for Six

This project envisions a 3D-printed earth construction, designed for six residents, blending comfortable living with adaptable workspaces for creative professionals, all while maintaining energy efficiency and grid connectivity. We aim to create a sustainable and dynamic community hub within an urban environment.

Passive Climate Design: Adapting to the Slope

Positioned perpendicular to the slope gradient, the building maximizes natural climate control. In summer, an extended south-facing roof shields the interior from intense vertical sunlight, while the kitchen’s placement blocks the direct western sun, protecting the bedrooms. A central courtyard within the private area provides seasonal adaptability: open in summer for enhanced ventilation, and closed in winter to create a heat-retaining winter garden.
