This is the site, Llobregat Delta area. You can see the map, Pink and Red area. Pink is exisitng Agriculture area and Red is Abundant area which is cultivated in the past.
The number of abundant areas is increasing little by little in Llobregat.
Our proposal, we think what we can design this area.
These is the main crops in the Llobregat area,
The area sums up, over 3000ha area and produces 22,000 tons of vegetables annually.
75% of crops are consumed by people in Barcelona.
The point, Barcelona citizens don’t know the kinds of information about Agriculture in Llobregat.
As human activities,
We consider market, kinds of restaurants and bars, Some interactive space in this area as well as people enjoy the city, and farming
As design inspiration
The two elements that stood out for us at the site, rows of agricultural land and Airplanes from El Plat Airport.
