A prototype for an interactive floor system that transforms human movement into light.

The prototype consists of buttons representing movable floor tiles equipped with sensors that detect when someone steps on them.
Each activated tile triggers an individual light source, creating a unique and dynamic composition that changes with every step.
As people move across the surface, the installation responds in real time illuminating their path and generating an ever-changing choreography of color.
No two journeys are the same: each visitor becomes a co-creator of a transient, personal light show.
The project explores the dialogue between architecture, technology, and human presence. It reimagines the floor not as a passive boundary, but as a living interface one that perceives movement, reacts to touch, and translates motion into atmosphere.
THE CONCEPT
What can happen if a tile lights up when you step on it?
This interactive floor tile prototype transforms human movement into light. Each step activates a pressure sensor-equipped tile, triggering a unique illumination that shifts with every motion.

As people walk, their paths glow in real time, creating a living choreography of light and presence in different dimensions. The floor becomes more than a surface,it’s a responsive interface that perceives, reacts, and turns movement into atmosphere.
