During our first visit to the Sagrada Família, we came to understand how and why it represents the culmination of Gaudí’s work—through the meaning imbued in every element, the intricate geometries, and the profound intentions he conveys to the public. The project draws inspiration from Gaudí’s architectural language, incorporating the dynamic flow of hyperbolic spiral staircases, the structural efficiency of Catalan vaults, and the organic elegance of arched forms to create a design that harmonizes with nature.
Like a tree emerging from a bud, the sacristy symbolizes growth and transformation. Its layered leaf system hosts workshops that deepen the exploration of Gaudí’s visionary thinking. At its core, the twisting dome opens to light, representing enlightenment and discovery. Using computational design, we materialize this organic evolution, where structure, form, and spatial experience merge into a dynamic, living architecture.
