The aim of the project is to create a solution for Kuwait’s biggest urban problem, street cats’ overpopulation.

A large population of stray cats roams the streets, often suffering from injuries, infections, and diseases. These cats face difficult living conditions, with no access to suitable shelter, nutrition, or veterinary medical care. Left untreated poses a threat to both cat and human populations’ general health. Addressing this problem requires repeated care within a controlled cat gatherings strategy. The ‘On-site vet booth’ project proposes a shelter\vet customizable solution for any location within parameters determined by the site. This booth acts as a safe space that cats can get shelter in, and dispatched veterinary could help and easily find.

Controls

The application allows the client to control the site parameters and each of the four sides of the booth based on the demands of each unique proposed site, enabling them to view and prototype multiple iterations before moving on to the construction phase.

This feature takes advantage of the of the application ability to showcase the geometry and manipulate it, creating a simple and easy presentation method to the client. It Brings the client to the conversation allowing them to decide on the iteration with ease rather than the team creating multiple files and\or renders for each iteration and going back for each change, saving the team time and effort.
