Term 01 of the ‘DIGISCAPE’ research thesis for the Algorithmic Design – I cluster involves completing the first 2 objectives of the algorithm.
The following series of images show a step-by-step process of how DIGISCAPE ALGORITHM ver 1.0 (Code Requires Ultra Defined Editing) works using Google Colaboratory.
At this point in the Digiscape Algorithm, the user has an opportunity to input any image of their choice.
For the purpose of the Digiscape Algorithm to continue, the images captured by the ‘YOLO Object Detection’ part of the script is reuploaded back into the algorithm.
Note: Closing the eyes increases the “Neutral” emotion category value.
Note: Wearing sunshades also increases the “Neutral” emotion category value.
Term I – Digiscape Algorithm ver 1.0 (C.R.U.D.E)
Digiscape Algorithm ver 1.1 is a work in progress to translate the data obtained from Google Colaboratory onto GH Python, to create a mechanical output using Firefly for each emotion in the form of different colored LED lights mapped to different emotions.

DIGISCAPES ver 1.0 is a project of IAAC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia developed in the Master in Advanced Architecture 02 – by the student: Preetam Prabhakar and Research Thesis Advisor: David Andres Leon during the course MAA02 22/23 Thesis under the Algorithmic Design research thesis cluster.
