The annual construction waste is expected to reach 2.2 billion tons gobally by 2025, to try to solve this kind of problems in this sector we can use the Additive Manufacturing fot the optimization of Fabrication and construction.

Key advantages of AM

Economics of Additive Manufacturing

By 2020, the AM sector will grow up to a €13.4 billion industry with a 22 percent annual growth rate.

“The AM process demands the use of sensors to create a feedback loop of information that can allow us to use less material and optimize the construction of our pieces.”

 -Ankitaa Bob, tvasta

After a set of interviews with different experts in AM from different parts of the world we conclude that is necesary to hace a complete undestanding of the AM process at the moment of the printing with the help of CV and AI creating a feedback loop of information that allow us to adapt toolpaths and features according to compensate deviations in the prototyping.
