Cabin F

The aim of the design is to reflect the nature of the site. The facade has a topography which relates to the environment, texture of the plywood gives the atmosphere of the trees. Carvings on the facade are continues with the structure outside. Frame of the design follows the organic shape of the facade. Layered framing … Read more

WAFFLE – DIGITAL FABRICATION

This term, we explored three Digital fabrication techniques: CNC Milling, Laser Cutting, and 3D Printing. Our objective was to create A Cabin Integrating and investigating the characteristics of each technique. Concept The waffle cabin, designed for future human use, is tailored for different terrains, including beach, desert, forest, and plain regions. The primary structure of … Read more

ELEVURA

DIGITAL FABRICATION 3D Printing | CNC Milling | Laser Cutting 3D PRINTING As we embarked on this three-week journey of digital fabrication, we began with 3D printing in the first week. Our goal was to create something that could be integrated with our other techniques in the weeks to come. To maintain flexibility and openness … Read more

Tessellate – The Cabin

Design & Concept For our project titled “A Cabin for the Future”, we focused on designing an innovative roof structure utilizing  laser cutting technology. We aimed to challenge ourselves by opting for a curved roof created through the technique of ‘folding’ an 8mm polypropylene sheet.  This approach allowed us to explore the structural potential of … Read more

Introduction to Digital Fabrication- THE SPINE CABIN

The project developed in the Introduction to digital Fabrication seminar involved designing and fabricating three distinct elements of a cabin, each using a different digital fabrication technique. Through this process, we explored the applications of laser cutting, CNC milling, and 3D printing. “The Spine” is a cabin based on an arched type structure, inspired by … Read more

FABRIC-ATION

3D PRINTING REFERENCES Inspired by the interplay of flexibility and precision , this concept captures the merging of fluid fabric forms with the structured intricacies of 3d printing and laser cutting . By layering printed patterns onto pliable textiles , this project explores the seamless integration of hard and soft elements , creating a form … Read more

RED SEA – 2050

G4-STUDIO, KIN INFRASTRUCTURE ABSTRACT: The Red Sea 2050 Architectural Project presents an innovative and sustainable approach to coral reef conservation. Focused on education and design interventions, the project addresses the urgent need to safeguard coral ecosystems. The conceptual framework involves the creation of modular panels—both large and small—deployed as coral farming plates. This approach allows … Read more

Verdenlace

Manifesto “Verdenlace” is an urban park situated in Les Corts, designed to reconnect individuals with biodiversity while encouraging community participation through architectural interventions. The park’s functions aim to foster esteem and self-actualization among users. The structural form is derived from multiple aggregations and iterations of a simple module, adapting the space based on various parameters … Read more

VISTA DYNAMICS

“First Life, then Spaces, then Buildings, the other way around never works” – Jan Gehl The proposal is an intervention at the site situated in Diagonal Mar, neighborhood, inspired from the fundamental idea of Placemaking. The intervention goes beyond development, aiming to activate the site and create a vibrant community. Grounded in functionality, the approach … Read more

Restorative Marine Eco-vessel

A migratory eco-vessel designed to nurture multiscalar habitats, fostering diverse species settlements for enhanced biodiversity and marine environment restoration. Drawing inspiration from mussels’ bioregulatory nature, this design targets eutrophication in the Mediterranean, offering an adaptive, nature-based solution that grows and learns with the ecosystem.
